On Friday (30/11/2007), after getting the approval of Mr. Zam, the Director of STAD (Student Affairs and Sports Division), an interview was conducted to fill the remaining seats available in the 2007/2008 Students' Representative Council. The number of seats to be filled was 7.
The criteria for applicants:1) Ready to serve students immediately
2) Must have CGPA minimum 2.5
3) Able to manage time properly
4) Good interpersonal skills

News about the interview was announced on the bulletin board and also spread via word of mouth. A total of 17 MMU students had submitted their applications for this interview session.
The interview was conducted by the SRC excos themselves. This has been practiced since the formation of SRC in MMU.

Candidates were assessed based on their answers as well as how they carried themselves throughout the interview.
After the interview, the SRC excos offered their input regarding the candidates' performance to the SRC President who will make the final decision on who to choose to fill the remaining seats in the council. The President, Mohd Hamdan Bin Mohd Sharif, deliberated on the matter and announced his decision on Sunday.
